Cautiously optimistic that this is solvable. You see the bit that’s now hanging off the mini chain has a thread on it? That screws into the bit that’s now dangling immediately above it. The extent to which you screw is a bit difficult to explain but there’s plenty of YouTube videos explaining it. You want to search for sturmey archer adjustment.
