🚲 Sunrise Ride Through Xagħra’s Historic Square 🇲🇹

Cycling through the peaceful Pjazza Vittorja in Xagħra, Gozo 🇲🇹, I ride past the grand Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady — locally known as Il-Bambina. As the sun rises behind the village buildings, we pass this historic church, whose roots trace back to 1815, and whose feast commemorates both Mary’s birth and the Knights’ victory in 1565. A calm and beautiful start to the day in Gozo.
