In this episode, I’m hitting some of Wrexham key landmarks:

Welcome back guys. This is episode 49 out of 76 of me visiting every city in the UK raising money for mine, a mental health charity. In this episode, we go visit Rexom. So, settle in, sit back, grab yourself a cup of tea, and enjoy. Mom and Steve again today. We’re in Rexom and we’re going to go get some breakfast. What’s this called? How do you pronounce it? The Ellie Yale, maybe. Uh yeah, quite a little Weber Spoons review. What’d you go for? Coffee. Steve, breakfast left. So guys, if you didn’t know already, I visit a Weber Spoons, a city center, a free attraction, and a cathedral in every video. And I’m visiting every city in the UK raising money for mental health. I went for an orange juice. Going to try and split split the orange juice. G or whatever. It just looks like a town center, doesn’t it? Yeah, even even the signs say town center everywhere. Don’t say city center on anything, does it? Not seen the word city anywhere. Some really pretty streets though what we walked up. Yeah. Anyway, cut to me eating my breakfast. Look at that lovely English breakfast. Going for a pancake and Steve the same. He’s got black on him. Looking good. Looking good. You know what? I’ll say that’s that was a success. Really, was it? How much it? I might still eat that ash brown in a bit of toast. I won’t eat the mushroom. I don’t like mushrooms. Go make your beer. You have beer with breakfast. He missed a minute ago. He’s dipping his ash brown in his beer. No, it won’t really. I made that up. Look at that there. What is that? It’s like a sun in it. You got the sun. Is that the moon next to it? Uh I think it’s a sun and the planets. It’s very mismatched though is it a very good representation of solar system but yeah what a weird thing to have in the web spoons. What’s the name of this place again Steve the Ellie who if you know how to pronounce it leave me a comment. So overall for that web experience I’m going to give it a five out of 10. Um it was okay. They weren’t amazing. And got guys, by the way, if you didn’t don’t recognize the background, it’s because I’m currently on a road trip around Scotland getting tons of cities done. So, these episodes will come soon. So, keep tuning for them. Must be like, you imagine on a match day, everyone walking up here for the game. Do you know what I mean? Such a small place. Today’s free attraction is going to be the Rexom ground. Considering that they’ve got a championships football team and I bet the stadium the stadium don’t look massive, does it from here? Uh, no. You never noticed you get to does do you? Well, the thing is they they came up two leagues back to back. Went from maybe more than that it might have been in non league then to champion league two then league one and obviously up into the championship from the actual main town center. It’s only what half a mile walk is it Steve? Uh yeah, it’s probably one of the easiest way days to come to get to Rexom. Literally walk from the train station and the ground is literally behind Steve’s head. But yeah, again, so we’re just approaching the racing ground now. Nice little food pan there outside the ground. Get yourself cheeky cob beyond the turf. This probably where sometimes you you occasionally probably see Ryan Reynolds in here having a pint after the game. Maybe maybe he’s in there now. No, we’re not going we’re not going pub again yet, Steve. Still it’s too early. Yeah, that’s cool though. There’s like a pub built onto the side of it, isn’t it? Like an actual normal pub. Never seen that before ever. So yeah, from here it don’t really look too great from here. Right, before we continue with the video, I just want to say a massive thank you to every single person who has donated recently to mind. Um, we’re currently on 568 quid, which is incredible. Well, there’s the rectum ground. But pretty disappointing. You can’t actually see it from uh where we are. Uh which might actually make it deduction on point. If you want to come to Rexom, just see the Rexom ground. It’s not worth it, man, cuz you can’t see anything for location. Not too bad. The ground don’t look too bad if we could see more of it. But as the attraction goes, it’s not very good attraction unless you go to the game to watch a unless you go to a game to actually watch a game. That make sense? Yeah. So, on that note, I’m going to give it a 4.5. Could have went to Rex. He did as fancy that he walked up to Ryan Reynolds. I’m only joking. Why is Rexon called Rexon? It’s named after a person and ham and ham. Riffthel Ham. It’s meant They think it means Riffles’s water meadow. So it’s named after a water meadow and before it’s become called. I’ll tell you what, it’s the first city I’ve been to where all the signs say town center on not city center. I’m not sure when um this city was created for when this town was turned into a city. When you look around in a minute when I show you around, you’ll see what I mean. But it feels like you’re in any town, like any town center. And it’s just got the title of city. But yeah, it’s weird. Yeah, that’s quite a nice little building. Yeah, it’s a weird place to have it, isn’t it? Sports directs. This is all right to be fair. It’s got enough shops. All the shops shut down, empty shops. This might just make uh Rexom do a right on scoring, I reckon. The cathedral is going to help you out massively, guys. Very colorful. Cathedral’s around to the right. Okay. That’s why you said do that later, didn’t you? Yeah. Looks all right in there to be fair. Anyway, let’s go cut to me outside the front of the cathedral. M we walked out there and it almost looks like a normal city again now. Wow, this building is beautiful. Look how old it looks. This is old. Really old. That’s what I mean. Looks really, really old, doesn’t it? obviously they probably don’t get a lot of funding was like a king back in the day or that’s just some wrote that down there recently. I just Wonder what’s behind this door here. Huh? I don’t know. See, the windows look so new, don’t they? There’s your Steve. is running. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it’d be. That’s kind of cool down there, isn’t it? This is probably the closest I’ve ever got to an organ near enough. Touch it. I know. Yeah. I mean, this probably the closest I’ve ever been to one. [Music] Cool, huh? The glass looks so much more modern than what it I thought it would from the outside. Unless it’s been renovated. Do you know what I mean? Looks like someone’s repainted it. Look how clear that looks on that. That one’s new. Fairly old. glass is actually slightly green like it used to be. Yeah. Chemicals that are in it. There’s like a little story in each little circle. They’re probably they’re cool. Anyway, that last place was a church. which I think is classed kind of like a church cathedral. Um it was it felt a lot smaller on the inside and it looked more modern inside as well, didn’t it? Yeah. Than what it did from the outside. Really nice feel. I I don’t know. I don’t think it was that great of a feel. I mean, I’d probably rate it I’d say probably a six. Yeah. Seems about right. Good. Yeah. Considering it’s a church as well, not cathedral, it’s a bit different, isn’t it? Anyway, this is the city center. Well, city center. Yeah. And uh is that a bar? Yeah, a sports bar. It’s old fashioned that, isn’t it? The old fruit isn’t there. That’ be a bit old middle bank. Yeah. What’s a Midland Bank? What’s that? Used to be set banks called the Midland. I guess not. Streets. Yeah. It’s weird cuz you go to like very like towny streets to very city streets. They’ve got like their own Just Eat. It’s called Rex and Eats. Sean, don’t say Tan cuz I’m not going to say, but I think we walked in and saw big shops in the supermarket type shops and then as we walked around, we saw some of the more point bits in the market. So, I’d say 7.2. There you go. Just like that. So, that puts Rexom on a total of 22.7. And as you can see, I haven’t got my leaderboard here or my map cuz I’m currently in Airbnb, but I will back in a camper van for the next episode. So, you’ll see cut scenes in a camper van, which um so I might give you a little tour of that in the next episode. Anyway, guys, thanks for watching.
