Woke up camping in a hotel car park before catching a train to Brindisi — or so I thought. Turns out high-speed trains in Italy don’t allow bikes unless they’re in a bag… so I used my tent instead 😂 The adventure never stops!

I think they're taking the Michael. I live in Italy and I've see thousands of bikes on trains, never seen one in a bag!
That's not universally true Shane. In a lot of places you can carry you bike as they have spaces for thatn, I am sorry you had this misunderstanding. Happy to know you managed to find a solution
