Slide the rubber gaskets all the way down the shackle onto the lock body before ride. Only stops the rattle for a little then you have to slide them back down. Has anyone found different solutions?
Use a zip tie to prevent the rubber gaskets from moving. Stops like 90% of the rattle.

How are you carrying it? I slip mine through my belt, and it doesn’t rattle.

I have a similar issue on my abus lock I’ve attached to my bike. I’m curious what solutions people have. I like having it attached to my bike instead of in a bag, or my belt.
I’ve debated putting some foam in selected spots but I don’t want to impede the locking mechanism in any way.

I lock mine through the rack, then lash it in place with a bungee cord.

Take a small piece of inner tube or rubber band and wrap it around rubber gaskets at the end of the shackle. It may require applying a little pressure on the lock body to unlock if the fit is tight but it stops the rattle entirely.

Um, see that lock-guard-sleeve thing? If you turn it so that the longer part is against the U-lock, it will tighten the linkage. I hope that makes sense… I think it’s designed that way, but even if not, it helps.

I tuck the lock in my waistband because it’s quick and accessible, but it also stops any rattle

I mounted mine lock end up and it sits on the shackle so heavy that it doesn’t rattle much at all.

This is how I do it.
I just put other small rubber washers on it. Don’t ever have to move them. Still locks perfectly fine
