A mountain bike trip out to Nesscliffe and the Cliffe from Shrewsbury on 20/4/24. The journey was mostly off road on bridleways. The total length was just under 27 miles.

got love a little Adventure out and this is a well I’m close to Shrewsbury this is uh A New Path for me I’ve been down here before thanks to uh Kimo’s uh route planning I wouldn’t have even thought of this as a route but anyway I’m off on my way oh bit deta here okay a little trip out to nesc it’s going to be I know 25 30 m round trip I guess all right this is going to be excellent because I don’t really know where I’m going so we’ll see you when we join up with something I recognize huh that’s where I should have come out but the path was L and clear so uh went across a plow field to a road gate onto the road and the church back there is where the uh Darwin family are buried like not Charlie himself but the earlier family I believe and now we’re off down this wonderful tra back got the briens over there in the distance but that is not where we’re going today we in view of NES Hill and so far I’ve escaped any punches it’s quite a lot of H trimming been going on but so far so good maybe I shouldn’t have said a thing this is all very pleasant I’m in just below Nest Cliff Hill and yeah it’s a lovely day it feels like winter is kind of gone now because there’s loads of flies around of course um that great it’s great it’s fantastic [Applause] [Music] beautiful absolutely beautiful [Applause] morning morning for found two Thorns fixed two punctures but there’s obviously at least a third one that I’ve missed pain
