Day 9 of our honeymoon motorcycle adventure takes us from Vaduz, Liechtenstein to the legendary Stelvio Pass in Italy on our R1150GS.
We start the day riding through Davos and climb the beautiful Flüela Pass before crossing into Austria’s Tirol region.
The route continues over the scenic Reschen Pass, famous for the church tower rising from the lake.
Finally, we tackle the world-famous Stelvio Pass, known for its tight hairpins and high-altitude views, before descending into Bormio, where we relax and explore the town.

Heat. Heat. [Music] Good morning from day eight. We just woke up and had breakfast at the hotel here. I’m not going to film inside the room because uh it’s a bit mess. Our rooms are always messy when we travel like this because we have to unpack quickly everything. We have take the bikes the bags up. We’re just using them for the night. There’s a lot of traffic here on this road where we are in Vadus. It’s very cold and chilly this morning. Look at the view. But uh I still managed to stay in my uh shorts and t-shirt as you can see. Today the plan is to go to to Stelio. Basically, we will ride through Davos or near Davos and then we will meet Ann’s uh friend in Boro in Italy. We’ll get ready soon and then we’ll start our way. I don’t know cuz they are not very well marked on my map. So I don’t exactly know where we are. I realized I don’t have an Austrian patch, so I thought I should uh get one from here. [Music] We have started the climbing stio but man what a fit show now it’s a bit clean but 5 minutes ago it was fully blocked here I think everyone is here and the bicyclist man the bicycle ical people are the worst. Have the width of half a meter and they are taking the whole road because it’s difficult for them to do it. Man, stay home or go right on the sides. It’s already narrow here. This is no fun. This is the road. And look at them. Ah yeah. I’ve seen the bazar in Istanbul that was much cleaner and much easier to navigate. This is not okay, man. This is not okay. Look at these guys. So, here we are in Bormio. It’s very nice here. We came to see one of Anna’s friends. We arrived at around 2 3:00 and we’ve been winding down trying to take it a bit slower. This area is incredible. It’s surrounded by mountains from all sides. They say it’s like a very famous spa and thermal waters uh place. And also the Olympics will be held here in 2026. So like in oh next year. It’s very beautiful and on the green and people are training here. Look at this scenery. [Music] A river Ada. Ada. Okay. I wanted to ask I would have named this river Borneo.
