First colder camp of the season

Our first colder camp of the season!

It’s always interesting breaking the ice with the first cold camp in a while. Particularly because, this was our first trip since I’d had surgery and it just happened to fall over the first cold snap.

I wasn’t too sure if the cold/camping would cause any pain or problems, but I’m very happy to say it went problem-free (helped by whisky and a BIG meal!).

The sun dropped and the stars dazzled us. It was a beautiful night, then a perfectly still morning. The sun popped over the valley and filled it with incredible colours 🌞

Always find the wintery camping in good conditions is unbelievably peaceful. Worth putting up with the cold for sure.
