Transition is a super solid brand known for specing out their bikes with really high end quality components. That being said, don’t ever ask this group if a bike is a good deal – 99% of the time they’ll say no. The answer is, if you think it’s a good deal for you, then it is.
It’s effectively half off the new price and looks to be in good shape. As long as there isn’t some obvious maintenance needed (brakes, drivetrain, suspension) when you go to look at it id say that’s a solid deal.

back in the Covid supply chain hell days people would try to sell that for like 90% of the new price (and someone would buy it because new was so hard to get) but now that we are kind of back to normal 50% of new for a 1-2 season used bike in good shape is about right.
What fork is that?
Transition is selling their demo bikes for 40% off at the Outpost, so it seems in line with that plus no tax. If your shopping for a 27.5 trail bike, go for it.

The Transition Scout is a super-capable all-mountain bike. Smaller wheels supposedly keep it fun on the tamer stuff and jump lines, but modern geometry allows it to bomb down the rough stuff. I’m not experienced enough to say how it rides beyond spins in a parking lot, but considered buying one. I do ride somewhat regularly with someone on a Scout, and he’s one of the top/fastest riders of the group.
It’s 27.5. You need to decide if a 27.5″ bike is what you want.

I had an older generation scout and it’s still the funnest bike I’ve ever owned. I basically buy a new bike every couple years so I’ve owned a lot and transition bikes are the best. If I wasn’t an old guy I’d still ride a scout but I want the extra travel and big wheels to make up for my lazy errors so I don’t hurt myself because well…I’m old.
Get it, you won’t regret it
I ride this same bike, but with a lower spec. It’s so solid on all terrain and I love it. Get it!
