I'd like to trim off most of my front fender so that it isn't in the way of my car's or a bus' bike rack arm. The arm needs to sit on top of the tire as close to the fork as possible, and there isn't any need for the fender to extend out much beyond the fork.
I have Bontrager NCS fenders (polycarbonate). What would be the cleanest way to cut off the end?
Suggestions? Rainy season is just about here. Thanks!

I’d say use a Dremel. Cut with a disc, then smooth/soften the edges with a stone wheel? Using painters tape to mark where you want to trim will be a good guide too.
Are you trying to notch it so that it fits better inside the fork? I had to do that, I used a Dremel with a sanding bit.
Just put the arm on top of the fender. That part keeps spray out of your face, you’ll miss it when it’s gone
