My favorite activity I did in France was spending a day biking through the wine vineyard countryside. We picked up our rental bikes in the morning in Djon. Yes, the city famous for mustard and paid €30 to rent them for the day. We bike from Djon to Bone, a route that’s about 46 km or roughly 2 and 1/2 hours of biking in total. Of course, it took us much longer because we made plenty of stops along the way. Our first stop was for a wine tasting where we tried seven different red wines, all made right here in the Burgundy wine region. This is where Pon Noora is produced and we learned how the soil and microclimate of each vineyard give the wine its unique character. It was such a picturesque day. The weather was sunny and the roads were mostly flat, winding through endless vineyards and charming villages. Later, we stopped in a small town for lunch. The outdoor dining setup was such a vibe. We ordered classic French dishes like beef burger. The perfect feel for the second half of the ride. As we continued, the views just kept getting better. I even picked a few grapes along the way just to taste them fresh off the vine. One of our last stops was at the most beautiful vineyard where we did a more in-depth tasting and tour. We visited their underground wine seller, learned about their production process, and sampled one white and two red wines. After about another half hour of biking, we finally arrived in Bone. We dropped off our bikes, found a cozy wine bar, and celebrated with, of course, another glass of wine. We finished the day with a big dinner and one last drink to reward ourselves for the journey. This was the perfect
