I (M, 191cm, 95kg) noticed this on my bike today, it was hidden under the bottle for unknown amount of time. It’s 0.5cm “hole” in the paint.
The bike is a newish Endurace (~2 months, 350km). I have zero memory of any type of crash/fall that could have caused this, it’s also a weird place (also perfectly centered) to have a random scratch this deep. It’s literally look like as if someone took a screwdriver and smash it precisely to the center of the frame 🙂 But also I don’t really think it came this way, I think I would surely notice this during assembly.
I’m fairly new to the carbon frame bikes, is this a safe to ignore thing or is it a sign of some bigger issue with the frame?

It Looks Like its only the color of the frame.
I think it come from a waterbottle, move the bottleholder a Bit upwards
For the frame color kann use Nail polish.
Or aks Canyon for a color Stick with the same color

Likely from your bottle. Put the bottle in and clear tape over anywhere that it might rub. Bear in mind it will wobble about as you ride, as I also found out after scuffing up a brand new frame with a long bottle.

ohh thanks guys, case closed and I feel really silly now, it didn’t even occur to me the bottle could have caused this 🙂 If I put the bottle back, it is hovering few mm above the spot, so yeah few wobbles/vibrations and it could definitely have grind this scratch after some time.
