In this silent home movie we have film taken while on a cycling and camping holiday. Scenes include Houghton Mill, Saxted Green Post Mill, Orford Castle, Woodbridge Tide Mill, (both inside and outside before it was restored), Wickham Market, Southwold, St Adrews Church in Walberswick, a church where the current church is bukit inside the ruins of the old larger church, Blythburgh including the priory, Framlingham castle and various views of Aldeburgh including the fishermen pulling their boats up the beach, the Moot hall, the Life boat and the Town steps. We finish off in Suffolk with a visit to Thorpeness Meare and the Raft race. At the end of the film are some views of the gardens and ‘Goldern’ gates at Elvaston castle in Derbyshire.
Like my other silent videos from standard 8mm film it was taken using a Kodak 8mm home movie camera and converted to mp4 format using a Reflecta film scanner.
