Got this for $30. How’d I do?

I saw this thing at goodwill with flat tires. Idk why but I had to have it (kinda know why, I have a vintage vw that this will be put on and used at shows), it came home and got a bath and air in the tires.

Haven't ridden a bicycle in a long time (34) let alone a fixed speed. This thing wears me tf out. Yes, skill/shape issue. But is there anything maintenance wise I can do to help it a little?

But other than that, how'd I do? Huffy gets mixed reviews here but idk about bicycles. I found a stamp on it that said 89 so I guess that's year of production?
