Stop thinking twice about putting a kickstand on your bike and just do it already. It makes life easier in almost every way – especially on a commuter. No more finding a random object to lean it on just right so it doesn’t tip with a front load, or awkwardly balancing the bike on yourself when you need to shuffle around for something while walking the bike, or the balancing act when loading/unloading the bike (still some challenge there I will admit). Another benefit is if you set it up with the back wheel raised it’s easier to work on the bike. I also think the double-leg kickstands look pretty sweet.

  1. What kickstand is that? Would love to join the team and put one on an old trek I am working on

Clicked to come in here to say f*@k kickstands, but didn’t expect to see a centrally mounted dual number.

    Chapeau, you person of taste.

  3. I recently picked up a Kona Dew for cruising around town and riding with the kiddos. It came with an aftermarket kickstand—and tbh, I don’t hate it. It’s still on the bike, and I have no plans to take it off.

  4. A necessity for a front rack that handles decent weight. I always wanted one just like this

If you want to carry stuff on your bike, especially a front load, they’re pretty much essential in my book.

Yeah now let’s direct our hatred against our true enemies! Dork discs and spoke reflectors!

    Can you DIGGG IT?!
