VNs go for about that price these days, maybe a little more.
It’s a good price regardless for a nice bike; the forks are a bit meh though. No wonder they didn’t photo the Planet X too clearly.

I just bought a second hand J Guillem and paid almost twice that just for the frameset. It’s disc brake so there is that, but if you don’t mind calliper brakes its a good deal. Pretty sure the fork is not original. So you could ask some questions on why that is.
