Haven't posted in ages, but figured y'all would be into this. 100% non-patented Aero-Crate design. Eco-conscious reclaimed supports clamped in suspiciously decommissioned strut nuts, attached to an unsanctioned front rack modification holding the one of a kind Aero-Crate (limited edition: one). Suspension corrected boat anchor made by Surly, frame by the mysterious name of Cutler7 once manufactured by Origin8. 165mm cranks that announce SINZ to deal with the limited ground clearance. Weight around what I imagine to have been the birth-weight of a Diplodocus. Garage-laced Velocity rims with a Kasai Dynamo hub, and various thoughtfully personalized OSHA-violations throughout. Aero-Crate because Aero-Crate, 670 because 650b + 20". A farmers market would hate to see this thing coming.

I’m dumbfounded, speechless, bemused, amused, jealous, and in awe, all at the same time.
But that’s also just my normal waking state, so whatever.
When you put a front hub motor and a rear IGH, I’ll buy one.
Btw, what happened to the rear fender?
Oh man that looks so hot. A farmers market would salivate at the sight of that cargo beast. I want to build a 20/26er next.
Well done ! I love the opening where the crate meets the top of the fork. Also with the thin wood and aluminium siding i bet its super rigid yet light. Good stuff
Oak, huh?
Like it. DIY cycle truck.
Posts like this make me almost wish I didn’t live so rural. Not likely to ever use that bike here. Nearest store is 13 miles away and 650 feet lower most of that change in a few miles. That is a great looking bike and so utilitarian. Wish I could use a bike like that because I’d sure try to build one….maybe one of my cats would sit in a crate…nah.
