Anyone who's pushed through the aboves advice or journey would be mega.

Bored of hearing none riders saying stop riding kids bikes, you can't get hurt like thst again, find something else to get your kicks off……….etc

Struggling to find any sort of control over my fear levels even though i need to pull up again at a ripe age of 41, after 3ish years without bikes. Clips are all from late 2022-2023 before I took a hefty one.

10 years older than you.  Had same thing happen.  Knee got fucked.  5 yrs rehab.  I take a shot of jack and chase it with a monster energy  before I drop in.  Try it.

  2. Just watch your ego and take your time, most injuries are from trying too much too fast

  3. Im 27 and just getting back on my bike after a 3 or 4 year break cause I cased a quarter pipe and ate shit and ended up landing on my handlebars and messed my stomach up really bad. I thought I was done riding but recently I have been motivated to get back out there. Just start small and get back in shape and slowly build up from there. Its the only way. Its kinda like your confidence on your bike resets back to when you were first learning and you have to build it back up with progression and landing tricks that you’ve worked hard for.

I had about a year off due to injury (9 months in a cast) when I was about 27. Still took me a year or two to get back up to speed.
Now I ride once a month at most (and also 46) and I think the thing I have to remember is I’m not as good as I once was (which was hardly amazing in the first place) so take it easy… you can fall into the trap of trying to do things you used to do and then getting wobbly which knocks your confidence. It’s cliche but start small and build.

That table transfer was pretty serious.
