Finally built up my Nordest Bardino 3 after months of saving, researching, and hunting down good deals!

This is my first ever frame up build, and I went for the budget/value route trying to squeeze the most performance out of my budget.

When it’s all done, the total will be around €1200, and I’m still planning a few upgrades:

Swapping the SRAM shifter + derailleur for Shimano Deore

A shorter stem (thinking a silver DMR Defy)

New saddle, a few bits and bobs and eventually a 200mm dropper and new wheels + tires

I actually won the IIIPro E4 brakes I'm running in a giveaway, so I’m testing them out for now might swap to Magura MT Thirty later on.

This bike is a huge upgrade from my old Orbea Laufey H30 (2022). The Bardino is longer, slacker, and feels way more capable an absolute beast of a hardtail.

Super stoked with how it came together and how it rides so far.
Curious what you all think how did I do given the budget?
Happy to answer any questions, feedback, or just chat builds!

  1. How to go from ‘Oh I’ve never heard of that brand’ to working out a budget for a Ti hardtail in 0.5 seconds.

Lovely looking thing, bet it rips!
