Hello, fellow owners of Moon cube-shaped lights!

Ever thought that little bump on the top isn’t just decoration but untapped potential?

When I looked at it after the purchase, my inner Xzibit from Pimp My Ride was whispering:

“Yo dawg, I heard you like mounts,
so we put a mount on your light,
so you can screen while you light.”

So here’s a Moon–Garmin-compatible adapter prototype. It holds anything from a flashlight to a GPS or an action cam. Doesn’t interfere with folding.

The MVP isn’t perfect – I want to make it thinner, angled, and reinforce the GoPro joint to handle more weight, etc. But the idea works! It’s much more comfortable to ride with a Garmin navigator instead of a Garmin watch. And no extra handlebar mounts are needed.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Moon Titan MAX flashlight, here’s the post about my lighting setup:

  1. That’s pretty smart! I looked up the light, looks like it has two screws for a top plate at the top? It’s meant for adapter and accessories or something? I might look into this, I’ve been thinking about ways to increase space on my handlebars.
