[Ep. 1082] Interurban cycling is really nice in the Netherlands, even on infrastructure that is obviously not up to date. This ride from Laren to Hilversum we get to see infrastructure ranging from a bit outdated to adequate.

Nice video! In the future, Hilversum really needs to improve its infrastructure.
Hilversum has a notorious lack of money, Laren has no excuse. Both need quite a bit of work on their cycling infrastructure.

To my British eyes the cycle paths look great. Some of the footways look a bit ropey though.
some of the sections here have pretty narrow sidewalks…where do wheelchair users go?
