Hey everyone, really stupid question from a first timer here.
I just got my Cannondale Treadwell 3 bike, and it seems to have a quick release front tire assembly with the disc brakes. My question is that there's this little plastic guard on the hub that is preventing me from putting my skewer through the rigging and i cannot for the life of me get it off. I tried unscrewing but the whole rigging (the nut on the other side) spins with it… i dont want to just rip it off for fear of breaking it.. so how do I remove this thing? I don't see reference to that guard in any part of the manuals? Thanks so much in advance!
