So today I had some wire/cable get snagged in the rear wheel whilst cycling. The cable wrapped around the rear cassette pretty badly causing the wheel to ultimately come to a complete halt. After some time getting it out I now have this issue.
I have tried it in all 3 gears on the Stermey hub and I get this issue in each. I have no experience with these type of hubs so have no idea what is causing it.
Any ideas?

Have you tried adjusting the sturmey archer hub? Theres lots of vids online
all internal gear hubs have drag but they aren’t this bad usually. this is almost braking the spin. get it inspected at competent brompton dealer / junction
