Left one is for your seatpost to always get the right height, see the manual for installation. The silver one is transport protection.

The ‘silver’ bit is a hook protector from the chainstay
(They normally fall off – Brompton say they are designed just for protection in transit)
The ‘black’ bit is a saddle height insert – helps to set the saddle height so you pull up and it stops where you want (it’s only really helpful when you are the only user of the bike and you always ride in the same shoes) – we recommend riding for some time before installing

Isn’t the silver one protection for the paint where the front wheel hook sits when the bike is folded?
