
Evening all. I’ve been given a Medium Aeroad CF SLX that was manufactured in 2017. Going by the Canyon website for current models, they recommend a size small.
Did the geometry of the frame differ much in 2017? And even if they didn’t, how much would I benefit from going down a size? Trying to work out if I carry on with the hand me down (of which I am very lucky to have) or spend money on a new bike but know it’s the correct size.

I mean…. You are almost in the middle in S so M Would be too big in my opinion, especially that you want aggressive position on aeroad
