Pump bracket or triangle bag, although you don’t see many that use bosses there because they’re not common in that spot. You could also put a bottle or small cargo cage there.
Anything that attaches like that you want to put there!
Extra bottle, bag, hand pump… the world is your oyster.

I’d put a bottle cage and one of those bottle shaped tool kits there.

Might be for mounting a U-lock holder. So the lock faces down.

Literally anything you need. How can we possibly answer that question???

I need more bags, my bike needs a dozen more tiny bags to prove how gravel I am, I need to fasten a pump and a spare tube to my frame where they catch all the rain and the grit, I can’t put those in a bag because that won’t look gravel, I’m strapping so many things to my frame that I need to move my drink bottle under the downtube where it catches all the dirt from the front wheel, oh god I’m so gravel, I need another bag to strap onto my bags

I would install a bottle holder, and then maybe something like this when you dont need the extra water/liquid: [https://www.topeak.com/global/en/product/796-CAGEPACK](https://www.topeak.com/global/en/product/796-CAGEPACK)

Unless you have use for a folding lock or can find a mini pump holder that centers the pump over the mount (most have offset to the side so you can mount it underneath a bottle cage) I can’t think of anything, and even in case of the latter it’s just using the mount for the sake of using it because as I’ve said you could just have the pump next to a bottle cage instead. My Trek Checkpoint also has a bunch of bosses on the inside of the frame triangle that I’m pretty sure are spaced precisely for use with one very specific model of Bontrager frame bag. It’s just another way for bike manufacturers to hopefully make a bit of extra cash with proprietary accessories.

There are never enough mounts when you go on a long gravel ride or bikepacking.

Granite gear makes a good bottle mount mounted storage strap, I’ve got one with a tool rollspare tube that I’ll throw on for longer self supported MTBgravel rides where I need more tools and spares.
