By the end of this month it will be dark by 5pm, so I figure I have that long to mop up what remains of rideable evenings before I'm going home in the dark. Couldn't do without these long rides though, I think the saddle is one of the few places where I'm at peace…

I take a 5k detour to my work to cycle through nature as well. No traffic lights, so it’s only 5 minutes extra for me.
I can recommend the Lezyne Macro Drive 1400 if you want to be able to take paths like this in the dark. Over 2 hours on full beam, and truly a great amount of light.
