SHEFFIELD – today we delve into a migrant hotel in Sheffield.

I’m just um doing a vlog film in the local area. Um is this hotel open? Am I allowed in to film? Sheffield has a lot of money to spend on buildings and educational buildings, universities, hotels, road works, construction. These are the staff. Best Western some of the biggest traiters to the country. Best Western Hotels looks like he’s um falling asleep while standing. So today I’m in Sheffield, a city in Yorkshire with a rich history of British culture and some call it steel city because in the 19th century it was one of the biggest steel manufacturers in the world. But recently the city has been experiencing some cultural enrichment and some say this is having a negative impact on the city. So today I’m going to take a walk around have a look and see what’s going on. Hold on. What’s this? Revolution against billionaires. These protests Palestine protests. There was one on YouTube recently. migrants sexually assaulted one of the attendees of one of these protests. So they’re protesting for Palestine and for refugees and migrants and then one of the migrants, you know, he backstabbed them and literally sexually assaulted one of them which is on YouTube which is pretty crazy. So yeah, in the distance you can see there the Best Western Hotel, which is one of the main providers of migrant hotels in the UK. And then right next door to it is the Holiday Express. And that’s the hotel we’re going to right now. And yeah, on the Ibis Hotel there, you can see the British flag flying high, which is obviously a statement. you know, they want to make a statement that their hotel is not a migrant hotel and they are here for the British people, which, you know, it’s a fair statement to make and it’s nice to see. So, yeah, you can see a lot of um beer cans and rubbish here, alcohol. I’m guessing this is where people like to hang out. You saw a couple of men sitting on the bench there. So, I’m guessing this is their garden where they chill out. It’s still early in the afternoon. It’s only around 12. We are here at the Holiday Express Migrant Hotel. You can see it there in the distance right behind me. You’ve actually got three. So, you’ve got three. You’ve got this Best Western Hotel here, this Best Western, and then you’ve got the Holiday Express, which is a known migrant hotel. Yeah. So, the entrance, you can see a lot of them down there smoking and stuff. Nikki’s down there. And this is the hotel. There’s a lot of bikes over there, too. And you can see them all down there. That’s the There’s a man at the door there with a register, I’m guessing. And then you can see all the rooms here, too. They’ve actually put barricades there now as well, so you can’t actually get into the hotel. You see that? People normally come over this bridge, but it’s blocked. You can’t actually get in there. And this guy, the migrants, just shouted to the security guard and told him that I’m here. So, yeah, this is where they are hanging out. And one of them’s eating his dinner there. We’ve got another security guard here as well. Yeah, there’s a lot of bikes in there. And then you can see the back of the hotels here too. More fencing. It’s blocked off there as well. And then this is like the bedrooms of the hotel. Um, yeah, the kitchen is down there, I’m guessing. Um, there’s all the staff. Best Western, some of the biggest traiters to the country. Best Western hotels. Best Western employees. Looks like they’re all migrants actually besides one of them. I’m just um doing a vlog film in the local area. Um is this hotel open? Am I allowed in to film? No, it’s closed for the time being. Can I come in and film? No. No. Well, can I film the area around here outside here? No problem. Yeah. Okay. Uh, so yeah, he said I can film round, but I’m not allowed to film in the hotel. So, yeah, you can see like a lot of um building here as well. A lot of construction going on behind. And then obviously the river there. So there’s plenty to film. And then the car park here too next to it. But up here you can see apartments up there as well. So there’s a lot to film and there’s a lot to do. But yeah, it’s a nice day guys. It’s about 25° today. So it is a beautiful day. Nice and warm. and more. You can see like construction up here as well behind me. They’re doing a lot of building in Sheffield because there is lots of money for this city. Sheffield has a lot of money to spend on buildings and educational buildings, universities, hotels, road works, construction. There’s there’s a lot of there’s a lot of money in this country. They have a lot of money to spend and they’ve spent it well in this city. And you can see there was a lot of buildings. But it’s a nice day today, guys. As I say, it’s nice and warm and it’s quite active. It’s lunchtime now. So, everybody’s out for lunch. And it’s a beautiful day. And yeah, you can see here as well behind you’ve got the Victoria Hotel, Best Western. Then there’s the garden across the road there as well. So it’s active. This area could do some renovation, too. this these buildings. There’s no construction going on here. We could do some more building over here. Yeah, need some renovation. But I’m going to go around now anyway. I’m going to take a look around the other side and see what’s happening. And Sheffield is a good city. There’s a lot of stuff to do here. Uh particularly at nighttime there’s a lot of nightclubs, a lot of clothing shops, a lot of food shops, a lot of markets. There is lots lots and lots to do. But yeah, this is the bridge to the hotel. A lot of YouTubers would walk over this bridge to the hotel and then they would go in and film. But it’s been getting a lot of attention recently. So you can see they blocked it off here now. There’s no way in. You cannot actually get into the hotel now. It’s blocked. Steel barricade. Is it steel? Yeah, it’s steel. So it’s like a rock solid barricade. You could ram a tank into that and it wouldn’t. There’s no way it would move. So it’s blocked. And yeah, you can see a lot of bikes at the side here. There’s a lot of bikes there. I estimate there is about 60 to 70 bikes at the side. And then yeah, this is the main entrance here too. Um, they’ve actually frosted the glass along the side now, so you can’t actually see into the hotel. It’s a big hotel as well. It’s got 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Seven floors all the way up. Um, so it’s massive. And then obviously this is the Best Western next door. I’m not sure if that’s a migrant hotel or not. It possibly could be. That’s got 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 eight floors all the way up. Then you’ve got the river right next to it here. The way they’ve placed it, it’s very difficult to get to. Obviously, the bridge is there and then you’ve got the security behind here. It is secluded by itself. There’s nothing really near it. you know, there’s hotels there and then there’s hotels surrounding it. You’ve got the Lloyd’s Banking Group actually right next door as well. Um, so yeah, this is a passageway along the canal. I can actually get back to where I was walking. I don’t think it’s too far. I think it’s about 10 minutes from here. Maybe 15, maybe a little bit longer. Um, the shishaba here as well. Wow, that’s a a beautiful golden a golden throne. That’s nice. A nice throne. A golden throne. And yeah, this is a lounge. Um, if you like shishes, that’s where you might want to go. And nice leather seating, nice shishes. So yeah, I’m just going to take a quick walk around this area just because it’s right near the hotel and it’s quite active. There’s quite a lot of um you know, takeaways and shops and barbers and stuff. And considering it’s right near the hotel, you can expect to see people from the hotel hanging about in this area. But it’s nice and warm. It’s about it must be like 20 25° or something. I think this is the high street, the main high street where all the takeaways and stuff Annie Lennox. Let Gaza live. What else have we got? Jim coffee shop. Interestingly enough, right next to the street near the hotel, there’s a lot of takeaways and kebab shops. So, you can imagine there’ll be a lot of work for delivery drivers in this area. But yeah, it seems it seems quite active and busy today. This is definitely a busy area. And then you can see right there the hotel’s there behind. So yeah, it’s quite busy and it’s a nice day as well. It’s nice and warm today. [Music] No, I haven’t gauge. This is the student area, I’m guessing, which is very busy. A lot of um cultural diversity. You can see here. So, yeah, it’s busy. There’s a lot. Can I go around here? Down. Yeah, I’m going to go down the hill. Oh, the one we went round. So, yeah, this is Sheffield Harlem Owen building, main entrance. And there’s a lot of people there today. You can see a lot of um cultural diversity. So yeah, it’s busy. It’s active. So let’s keep walking, guys, cuz I’ve not got long now. I’ve only got about 13 minutes before I need to get back to the train station. and there’s a lot of people. Sheffield is actually one of the busiest cities in the UK, so it’s great. You know, if you want to come and film some vlogs and stuff, there’s a lot of act there’s a lot of things going on and it’s very busy. But yeah, it’s a nice city. Sheffield Sunday where she set um I’d say Sheffield is actually more modern than Manchester to be honest with you. You spend a lot of money on modernizing the buildings and stuff. So, it is really it is nice to be honest with you. A lot of nice buildings and it’s it’s a nice area this bit of Sheffield. The thing about Sheffield as well, cuz it’s in Yorkshire, there’s a lot of um you know, natural landscapes that have been maintained as well. So, you can see around the city, which is nice. Thank you. I’m going that way. I’m going down. Hi, it’s Marlo. But yeah, it’s been a good vlog considering it wasn’t really planned. You know, I kind of rushed it, but I’ve got a lot of content. As you can see, I started here. I walked all the way down there, all the way up the hill, round to the hotel, and then back down, and I’m back here now. And it took about an hour. And yeah, this used to be like a waterfall. Water used to actually come out of this Um, I’m guessing they can’t afford the water now, so they’ve turned it off, but yeah, it used to be like a nice feature with water pouring down and people would like get pictures and stuff in front of it, but it’s turned off. It’s dry. Still a nice feature though. It’s like a mirror reflection. So, that is it for this vlog, guys, and I’m back at the train station going to Manchester.
