Found this frame at my local co-op, and want to try to build it up into a Franken-1×9 with spare parts. But the frame is defective?
It looks like the factory only tacked in the rear triangle. What do you think of this? Someone said they knew someone that could weld it (they do fab work at a motorcycle garage).
Would it be safe to ride after, or should I just stay away.

I assume the og welds cracked and someone was mid repair.
It would’ve never left the factory like that I don’t think.
