Hi all,
My tubeless tire is leaking air along the rim seam (picture 1). I understand there's probably something wrong with the rim tape, but I can't find what.
-
The rim tape is clip-in Bontrager stuff. They're Bontrager wheels. The wheels are also Bontrager. The wheels have always been tubeless-ready, but since I put new (narrower) tires on them, the problem seems to have started.
-
I haven't replaced the rim tape, I haven't even touched it. It seems to be in good condition everywhere; I don't see any bad spots.
-
The valve is a special valve designed for this type of rim tape. I've never had any problems with it, so I don't think that's the problem.
Hopefully you can give me some good advice. Thanks in advance!
