Short intro: I want to train and do a triathlon with a decent road bike to discover the sport!
Found two bikes that look pretty good near my area:
– Specialized Roubaix SL4 Comp (2017) made of carbon, with an Ultegra Di2 set ($2300 CAD, the black one)
– Giant Propel Advanced (2016) made of carbon, with an Ultegra set ($1900 CAD, the red one)
From my research, they are kinda expensive for their age, but hey, the canadian used-bike market seems expensive as a whole, and I'm not sure I could find new bikes as performant for the same price.
I am falling for the Giant due to the more agressive aero position, and the price difference could allow me to buy other gear to upgrade it.
Do you guys think it would be a decent buy?

I would take Giant. I know Roubaix has Di2 but i dont like Di2. Giant is beautiful bike!
Both are insanely overpriced. I just bought a 2018 Roubaix with Di2 and disc brakes for $1400 (U.S). I did put about $400 in to get it to perfection tho
