I just got a Chisel FS and I noticed this thing around the rear triangle pivot. It does not look like a crack… more like residue from welding. So I wanted some opinions.
By the way, does specialized have an email address for this kind of questions? All I could find is call center or chat.

Looks like a repair job to me, then painted over. Pretty poor welding.

Looks like a dent/scratch below that as well.
Whenever i have questions i text them during business hours, they answer almost immediately.
