I’m currently running on 2x *Michelin DH 22 2.4* tires on *MAVIC EN 421 Disc* rims which came with the bike from the previous owner.
I want to upgrade to an *Assegai* / *Aggressor* combo since the *Michelins* are pretty weathered and being a pain for pedaling.
I have acquired a 2.5 Assegai and a 2.3 Aggressor for front and back but after doing a bit more research I’ve noticed that the rims are 25mm wide (external I suppose) which makes them kind of skinny for the Assegai.
I’m torn between returning the *Assegai* and getting something slimmer or swapping out the rims since the rear one is pretty beat up. Now, I’m not sure whether should I get 25mm or 30mm (internal) rims. According to [this chart](https://www.wtb.com/pages/tire-rim-fit-chart) 25mm seems to be the sweet spot for both tires.
How do I proceed? Any insight is welcomed.
