I am about to prepare for the wet season and just found out my tubeless gravel tires are entirely covered with mold where air apparently leaked. Even one valve has funky mold on it. I just cleaned the tires with a soap and water mixture, and they seem to be fine. Is this normal for tubeless tires stored in a basement? I used Schwalbe sealant.

I’ve seen this before, usually from moisture being trapped inside the tire. There probably isn’t any lasting damage done by this, but I would personally dismount and replace the sealant either way.
Did you use 3.5% tubeless milk, or low fat? 😅
