Does any one else think it’s crazy that you have to pay Canyon extra for the box a bike comes with(with no option to remove)

Yea it’s kind of shit. Was about to order, but including delivery and box the price is 150 or so above the bike price. It’s still great value, but other online retailers offer free shipping and box. It’s like this amazon meme, where we get annoyed to pay for shipping, even when the product price + shipping is the same as the one of a similar product with free shipping.

Guess it has to do with expected value. When I see the bike price, in my head I calculate that against my balance, reason with it, justify it, and eventually come to terms with it. Only then to see there is another two weeks worth of groceries that come out at checkout.
