As we get further up, it starts to get a lot tougher. And now we see a reaction. Pagatcha has decided to go and the Monagali taking with him Evipole Ausso young Christian Kutubris. And there’s more. And Evan Paul looks like he’s in trouble. Look at this. He’s going backwards. I don’t know if he’s just drifting to the back at the moment, preserving his energies. It’s the biggest test so far. And he’s gone. Oh my goodness. What a statement. And boom. There goes the Olympic champion off the back. And Everole is being wound in and passed indeed by so many. Del Toro goes by him right now. Six laps to go and it’s Ti Pagachi that spears the line ahead of Isek Del Toro. Meanwhile, you look further back here. They’re assembling. But is it only for bronze? Oh, and to the side of the road goes RevCo Apollo. And everyone screaming by him at the moment. Desperate times for Remco a seeing his hopes go up the road. I feel for the team now, but it looks like they have a margin that nobody is capable of closing. I think we might get a a separate battle for indeed a bronze medal. It might be something more than that, something more precious. Here is the chase. Honorate, Civic, Healey, uh, three of the pre-race favorites. I still think that Remco Avanapole is now thinking, you know what, to hell with it. I’m going to get on that podium and I’m going to show what I can do. And here we go, Del Toro. So there may be a silver medal up for grabs because Isaac Del Toro I’m afraid has finally blown screaming down behind them and may well even come into camera shot in a few moments time as Civicov Del Toro now and Ben Healey former quartet there just behind guess who Remco Evopol is charging into the gap. This is fantastic. We have a uh a proper battle on our hands and he’s just about to get over to the Healey group here. This is absolutely remarkable from Ramco aole. Look at Evnico. Evanole dragging others along with him. Evanole needs to call for help. I’m not quite sure how much can be offered up by those who are around him. They’re not following on. They’re they’re leaning on Remco Evol a little bit too much now. Um I don’t think they’ve got a lot left to do the chasing. Tom Pitcock stays with what is now a quartet. I say that he’s now a trio. Evan Paul doesn’t want passengers. His mind is further up the road focused on this man. But here he goes. He’s off for silver. I’m out of here. This is a silver medal up for grabs and I don’t want passengers anymore. Did you see that? Scale Mo and Ben Healey. No reaction at all. couldn’t do it. Comes to the line. He takes the bell and so will start his victory lap. He’s testing. I think he’d quite like to finish without having to put up with the sprint. Oh, and there’s bye-bye medal for Shel by the looks of things. And Ben Healey, he knew that he had to shake him off. It was a question of when he was going to do it. 100 kilometers out. He imposed himself on this race as he has done on the entire world of cycling. Ever since as a young man, he rocked into our consciousness. Rock and roll all the way to the line. Taliba in charge of his own destiny. Constantly it seems. Taliba in charge. He may be shaking his head here, but in terms of spirit, he has achieved greatness. A silver medal for Remco Evanapole.
