Today’s day 119 of biking around the world and our third day of biking in France. Since we got caught in the dark for a couple miles yesterday, we wanted to get an earlier start today. Um, but we’re not morning people, so we did our best and we got out like an hour earlier than the day before. And we’re basically riding the same route all day today, um, along the same canal. So, we were just kind of cruising and enjoying ourselves and following the signs, which is always such a lovely way to ride. We had some delicious grapes from the grocery store and a croissant, of course. And today was just so lovely. It was mostly flat all day, had very little elevation, and that is such a treat. Um, you can kind of just like let your brain turn off and enjoy it. We stopped and got some sandwiches and they were delicious. It was a lot colder today than yesterday. I think yesterday kind of fooled us into thinking we were just going to get like beautiful sunny weather every day, but it wasn’t too bad. And then this happened. I just swallowed a bug. I know. It honestly happens way more than you’d think. Um, but that was the first time I ever caught it on camera, so I thought that was pretty funny. And honestly, more often than swallowing a bug is like a bug will hit you in the face and because you’re going fast and they’re going fast, it actually like really hurts even if the bug’s not that big. I feel like I kind of look dorky when I cycle, but I’m going to have to get over that because I want to include more clips of me. We saw these cool trees that I think have nests in them. Um, and then we made it into the town that we’re staying in. It was very quintessentially French, very beautiful. And yeah, that’s all for today. I’ll see you tomorrow.
