  1. These words were for Juan Alberto Sueldo, my coach, who was able to fulfill his dream of running in a Spartathlon. Now they're for all of you who have moved me to tears! Reworked version of the poem Invictus.

From the night that covers your path, firm as the ground you walk on, I thank the fire that drives you and inspires us, for that soul of yours that never gives up.

Amidst the brave miles, you didn't slow down or ask for a break. Under the weight of time and the wind, you remained standing, whole, present.

Beyond the fatigue and the shadows, where many stop or hesitate, the clock found you—and found you without fear.

No matter how hard the journey, or how many stones there are in your path, you are the master of your destiny: the captain of your soul… and of every step you take, dear Tito!!!!!!!!!!!
