I have a fairly new Brompton Electric, about 3 months old. The rear wheel no longer coasts after spinning up it. It always acts like there’s a brake. When peddling backwards the chain droops or the pedals keep moving with the wheel. There seems to be a lot more friction in the rear hub than there should be.
I’ve cleaned the chain and it seems okay. The brakes are not rubbing.
Any ideas?

I’d say check your wheel and see if they are touching the brakes when they spin. My wheels just after 6 months were so out of true that I had to send it in for a full rebuild.
