Have owned this GT for over a year now, decided to bite the bullet and start converting it to disc break.
Just finished the front end setup with a Surly Krampus fork paint matched, next step is getting disc tabs welded on the rear of the frame. Love the way it looks.

Looks awesome. V brakes are good enough for a rear IMHO, but if you wanna rock a disc on the back that’s cool too
