  2. Never understood why runners overcomplicate it like this.

    It's also very unspecific for runners, like, are you even warming up all the relevant muscles for running properly?

    1 minute brisk walk. 2 minute jog gradually increasing from very slow to tempo pace. Finish of with a few strides. Boom.

    5 minutes, very simple, guaranteed to warmup all the relevant muscles.

    Look at the Kenyans (kenyan shuffle).

  3. Do not do these until you have done very light 5-10 min warm up jog or you will pull a hamstring or possibly tear an achilles (especially older people). Former varsity runner 107th in Canada.
