I got so sick of the old rear wheel popping spokes. It was a WTB ST i23 and was making my life hell.

Bought these Mavic Allroad Gravels pretty cheap – and bonus points they sent an "S" for the front! Free aero spokes.

Also this was the first ride on the Pirelli Cinturato M 45's. It was a painful tubeless conversion – those beads man. AND SKS Speedrocker XL's debut too. I got really sick of post ride cleans being a half hour mud bath.

Super happy with the set up, aside from the tubeless settling and losing pressure. I think that's kinda expected though. It's not top end or bling, but it does what I want it to and does it well!

  1. Such a great bike. I have the same one, just one year older. I just went completely nuts and ordered tons of upgrades. I already have the redshift stem and seatpost, and I just ordered two (yes two lol) carbon wheelsets, new disc rotors, cassettes and chains, and some of the new Redshift handlebars (no loop, low flare). This bike has so much head room for upgrades.

Curious: how tall are you and what size bike did you order? I’m 6’1” (~185cm) and I got an L, and I keep having to re-convince myself that the bike isn’t too large. Like, I’m pretty positive it’s not; I’m just not used to the more laid-out riding position that this geometry dictates. I don’t dislike it, but when I hop on my buddy’s Domane the difference is incredibly stark.
