Fixable, it’s not in the worse place necessarily, but you’ve gotta ask is it worth it, has the frame had some serious use and it’s time to replace.

It could be in a worse spot, but still…if the frame snapped there….that’s too close to your junk.
Imagine getting core sampled by your top tube, right in your junk.
Or you could weld it and grind it down and shit….IDK man.

If you can tig weld, weld it. I’m sure you know to drill a hole at each end of the crack to stop it before you weld. Might as well throw in a little gusset plate while you’re at it if you’ve got the scrap hanging around.

I wouldn’t waste time welding it. You can see the crack, you can’t see the stress it will have caused.
The amount of heat you’s put into that frame to fuse new metal to old, it just doesn’t seem worth doing to me.
Could still be used as is as a general light duties bike. Just don’t get carried away!
