From Grenoble, France to Brig, Switzerland via mountain passes. September, 2025
Well, the next pass in France, I’m starting at I think they call this uh going up to the cold of Chasi. Um but there was a recommendation to start down here at the southern end of it. Uh to go up through the Lettes de Mont Veneer, which I think just sounds like the steps. It’s a very, very, very, very switchback route up to the top. You can barely see it from here. Looks like there’s a bicycle race going on, too. So, I’m sure it’s pretty popular, but uh hopefully it’ll be scenic and it’ll photograph. Well, let’s go give it a try. Very tight corners. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. All right, made it to the top of Kachasi. Looks like there’s a little restaurant here. Um, very scenic, very engaging ride up. Glad I came. Now I need to figure out where I’m going to go next. I think I’m going to be heading over to uh Switzerland for a couple of passes there that I want to do. And then from there, I’ll probably go back south towards Italy and Lake Ko area.
