So the short of it is that I have a work commute which is about 5 miles one direction. It's a mixture of road, gravel and cobble roads, so I wouldn't really be looking at road bikes.

I'm considering either a gravel or road bike, and there's a few locally I've found from sellers that have caught my interested, but I first wanted to get opinions on if any of then are worth it, or if there's a particular bike you would recommend.

The orange bike is a Giant Toughroad 2018 model that has been repainted, had parts replaced, gears upgraded to grx 2×10, and a dampener added to the handlebars. That's for £1100, honestly, its mainly the looks That's appealing to me with this one.

The second is a Boardman 8.9 URB, listed for 450. Mainly considering this as a cheap option to get around.

The third is a Rose Backroad Ultegra 2019 model listed for 1100.

The main considerations for me would be a bike in the 500-1200 price range, is suitable for cobble roads and gravel, is comfortable and will last at least a few years. The first option is the most appealing, mainly due to condition and aesthetics, but im wanting your opinions on these as to whether any are worth it.

Thanks!
