  1. Very Blingy for me but I can see a market for it. I would have loved to see some innovation out of brompton for the 50th and not just paint.

    For an anniversary bike it’s incredibly lazy the bags are frankly a shameful knockff of of Louis Vuitton patterning. Brompton could have done far better and it’s genuinely disappointing they went this route, the fact after all the PR buzz and marketing emails they sent and the bikes are still readily available says a lot.

  3. They’ve gone a bit nuts since they got their fancy paint/sticker machine. I’d really love to see progress with better gears, belt drives, hidden cables and cheaper lighter bikes. I’ll probably always have a Brompton and I don’t really want an e-bike right but the rate of innovation in alternatives is very high. Brompton could find themselves being a technically inferior lifestyle brand, which is still a business model but I got one because it was technically superior.
