    From your photos it looks like the hanger is bent. They are cheap and easy to replace.

    I would be more concerned about the derailleur itself. The cage is blurred but it looks like it might be bent as well. That can cause it to get caught by the spokes when you are in the largest gear. That will rip the derailleur right off the hanger and can damage the wheel. I have had that happen to me once.

  2. easy to bend back using the right tool. If it breaks off buy a replacement. Buy a replacement any way so you can have a spare.

    Better angle would be behind the bike so we can see if the rear mech is in line with the sprockets. 

  4. I’d buy a replacement instead of bending it back yourself, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. Hey it isn’t hard, but it’s a new bike and I’m sure the store you bought it from would be happy to help and if you bought the replacement from them.
