Hey all, I'm stuck deciding between two used bikes and would love some input from folks who've owned either or done similar upgrades:
• 2019 Canyon Endurace CF SL – Ultegra 2×11, DT Swiss aluminum wheels, zswift trainer included
– asking $2000 great condition
• 2021 Specialized Roubaix – Tiagra 2×10, Hunt carbon wheels, Garmin included – asking $2000
great condition
My dilemma:
If I get the Canyon, l'd likely ride it as-is for a while and then upgrade to carbon wheels down the road.
If get the Roubaix, it already has carbon wheels (and FutureShock), but it's Tiagra 10-speed. I'd probably want to upgrade to 105/Ultegra eventually.

Carbon wheels + newer bike is an easy win for the Roubaix imho.
I wouldn’t even upgrade the gearset per se—I think Tiagra is absolutely fine. However, as you’re replacing pieces, you’ll probably invest in a better chain, cassette etc
Roubaix no question. Much more valuable deal for the same price in terms of frame+wheels+drivetrain spec. Canyon after sale support is horrid if you need spare parts, spec is pretty easy. The futureshock also works super well if you want that feature 🙂
