Recently I picked up this Schwinn Varsity 1500 of of FB marketplace. Was able to get it for $50! Its in great condition and well taken care of, with some minor scratches. Conti tires, presta valvs, shimano parts, power max brakes. I don’t know too much about it and theres very limited info online. My sporting goods store nishiki road bike, it had about $120 too much maintenance after not riding for so long and this was wayyyyy cheaper than doing an overhaul on that bike. Hoping to get back into riding with some nicer weather enjoy it a lot. If you have info or any recommendations on things to do freshly after buying a used bike, please tell me.

If everything works, just level the handle bars, the hoods shouldn’t be pointing up like that.
Clean down the chain and drive train, add fresh oil and ride 🙂
