I purchased my first Canyon in August but didn’t have a chance to ride a lot due to getting ready for double fall marathons (Chicago and NYC). I realized reach is too long and I am not getting a comfortable fit, I am out of the return window and either trying to make it work or sell. Does anybody have similar issue and changed the cockpit to 2 piece to make it work? Is it worth to try? Or should I just sell and get an S.

You can convert it. Only problem is the 1 1/4″ ich steerer. Zipps, giant and canyon make some. Canyon also offers the spacer kit with a new transition plate for the conversion (round). The conversion itself isn’t that big of a problem and if you’re careful you can even reuse the bartape (I reused mine without any issue because the canyon tape doesn’t use adhesive).
That said the endurace is a little shorter than other bikes, if your arms aren’t shorter than normal it should fit fine with this setup. Another Tipp is moving the saddle a bit forward (I have 20 mm setback and the saddle is on the back limit). Frsmesize looks good considering the seatpost.
